New color scheme question

Not that it matters much but I saw somewhere this week (sorry, can't remember where it was) that the school will NOT be called LSUNO and will stress the LSU NEW ORLEANS wording.............probably doesn't matter to much to many people but I wonder if that is deliberate?

I understand and appreciate that from LSU. But you can’t control what the media and everyone else in the state calls us.

Just look at UL Lafayette. I’m as guilty as anyone of calling them ULL despite the school not wanting that used.

I’m afraid we are going to get LSUNO shoved down our throats.

   That is the media.     They sometimes have their own agenda.    

Today one of the local media talking heads called it lsuno....   I think it is a very long name: 

LSU New Orleans.     

But when the teams take the field / court they will have New Orleans OR Privateers on their jerseys..     At least that is what we have been told.

We will not be using LSUNO. That comes from the top.
