I do like what I'm seeing and hearing - though the years have taught me to be skeptical.

We've heard a lot of talk before.

This time feels different though.  There finally feels like there is an alignment between LSU and the LSU New Orleans leadership.

Yesterday at the Founder Day club meeting JR praised a lot of people for their hard work.    She mentioned Gio and the athletic department a few times during her presentation.

I think in addition to the alignment with the LSU system with the leadership of LSU New Orleans, there is a real partnership with the LSU New Orleans leaders on campus including the athletic department as a partner in the future success of the university.     In the past it is my belief that athletics was considered an auxilarry and not a full functioning part of the campus.    This time is truly feels different in the overall approach.

I think it is more real than it has been in the past so that is going to be my take until I see something different.
