There is just generally more positivity around Privateer athletics right now than I can remember in a long long long time. It's almost jarringly weird. Is this what it's like to not be miserable all the time?
With the obvious caveat, and grumpy reminder, that positivity and $4.50 gets you a cup of coffee. Results are results. But I'm just saying.
You really hit the nail here. It just saddens me that we ( the university and collective) have had to go thru all of this to get to even HERE.....here being some good news. WHY did it take the 'big brother' coming to save our asses? Why didn't the state, the city, OUR LEADERS do something to help THE university of new orleans? Why was everything always done to protect the big guys and the school that basically built new orleans was left to rot?
yeah, I still got some ptsd over this but certainly, continued success and real progress will eventually water the ptsd down I hope.
