I've commented previously that Eric Orze is likely the last guy that will ever come straight out of UNO and make it to major league baseball.
There's a decent chance that will hold up, but it bears mentioning the season that former Privateer catcher Miguel Useche is having in the Cubs' system. He had a good run at Single-A South Bend, has been promoted to AA Knoxville, and has been tearing the cover off the ball since arriving at AA. He just had home runs in both ends of today's doubleheader in Chattanooga and is, as of my typing this post, OPS'ing over 1.000.
Still don't think he's considered a big prospect, but just a guy to keep an eye on.
