Two names so far looking for a new place to play next season.
Eli Tidwell
Miles Curley

Tidwell -- good player, albeit an absolute strikeout machine.
Curley -- also a good player, wish he hadn't been injured on and off all year.

I wonder about Biddick, Rogers, Smith? Those are guys not listed as seniors, although the guys listed as seniors might have eligibility left for all I know. I genuinely do not know anymore. I just assume everyone can come back until they eventually don't.

I also wonder about Cummings? He wasn't much with the bat but it was a pleasure watching him play third base.

Officially, the NCAA rules state that if you’re in Division I or II, you have four seasons to play within five years from full-time enrollment. Key exceptions are for medical redshirts or hardship waivers which can restore a lost season if an athlete misses a season due to injury. Then there's also Covid-19 relief, which should have ended by now I would think.

I also thought that Cummings did a great job at third base.

I know Biddick is playing with Acadiana Cane Cutters, have not heard anything about Rogers or Smith. Yes Cummings is a great defender at third base.

Incidentally, while talking about baseball, UNO officially beat a College World Series team this season (Troy).

Congrats to the Trojans, a 29-loss mid-major that was the last at-large team to get in.  I was amazed that the committee selected them in the first place, so a good message gets sent here.

That game against Troy was one of the highlights of the season for me. I'll always remember the ground rule double which erased a sure win, but we got another clutch hit anyway to win 11-10 in 10 innings.

Dylan Biddick transferred to Arkansas Little Rock

I expected to lose Biddick but Little Rock? Oof. Losing guys to peer schools (albeit peer schools that went to Super Regionals) always hurts more.

Like, at least Calloway and Edwards got to spend a year in the SEC and go to Omaha. More power to 'em.
