Steve, what do you think of the NC schedule overall?

As others have said, I'd give it a thumbs up. Some home non-con games, two non-con home D1 games (wow!). The Grambling home and home is weird, but fine, whatever. I am not shocked to see Texas Southern on there given Stacy's connections. SWAC teams almost never get D1 home games. I am going to assume we will get a return visit from them next year.

But several of the road games are manageable. If we are a reasonably good team we can actually have a winning record. I mean, as frustrating and WILDLY inconsistent as last year's team was, they were an above-average Southland team that was nevertheless pre-destined to have a losing overall record because of the schedule. That condition is not in play this year.

Looking at the schedule, it all still shows times TBA so I'm HOPING that maybe more convenient times are in play this year than the past few years. I know everyone here has times that are better for them than others so I'm obviously being selfish but just do to other obligations, its been really hard to make as many games as I'd like to so here's hoping a little change for the better is coming.........tho I'm not sure why just switching colors, unis and the name would really make any difference.

What times are you hoping for?

I think we were 7 p.m. on weekdays. That seems pretty standard. The weekends were 2:00 (women) and 5:00 (men). Personally, my ideal here would probably be 3:00 and 6:00, but I had kinda talked myself into 2 and 5. Sort of an acceptable compromise between the "pro-afternoon" and "pro-evening" factions. Seems like they change this around fairly frequently though, so who knows.

Weekdays were fine for me personally (again, i'm thinking very selfishly here) but sat games at 2 and 4 kinda really upset the early and late parts of the day, no? Yes as you said, 6 I think might be ideal on weekends. I know we'll be fighting against football games etc but lets face it, those folks aren't and won't be going to UNO games so might as well make it comfy for those that actually do show up.

I know they can't please everybody and I know mine is just one of a few hundred opinions. Just throwing it out there.

I agree. I think 5:00 on Saturday is pretty good.
