Volleyball season starting

If the goal is to associate us with the LSU purple and gold brand, New Orleans and NOLA, don't do that. I guess I'll just have to suck it up and go with LSU New Orleans and LSUNO. It will probably transition to LSUNO in time. If it helps with enrollment, I don't care. We're looking long term.

From everything I was told there is a strong directive from folks running the school and department that LSUNO will not be part of the branding.

They can't control what others do, but the folks at LSU themselves do not want LSUNO.

It's almost like this switch was half assed when they originally thought of it.

But what do I know..... lol.

Also volleyball being bad again isn't a surprise, Ashley's on her last year so I'd imagine we change directions after this season.

"LSU New Orleans" is fine with me and preferred. Looking at the ESPN College Volleyball scores, they do indeed have LSU New Orleans listed.

But as you said, we can't control what everyone does. We'll see.

It's been a rough start for this young team, but they finally got another w.

It's the first win ever against a Big West Conference team; the first in 7 tries. It's been a rough start, but they've been somewhat competitive, losing a lot of close sets. So, we'll see how they do in conference.
