New to the site but a longtime Privateer. Some of you older members may remember when I played hoops from 1970-74 (Terry Gill). I now live in Hilton Head but followed your previous board. I never joined as I thought the site was very clunky and prone to hacking. Having experienced both LSUNO and the change to UNO my senior year, I have no issue with the name change, especially if it solves the mismanagement issues. I do HATE the color change. Looking forward to participating going forward.

I had been worried this was a bit of a vanity project of mine but I feel like there's a recurring "I used to lurk/the old board kinda sucked/was bombarded with ads" theme going here so far. Other than the tiny "MyBB" links at the bottom (they produced the forum software) there are no outside links/ads here. We are fully self-hosting and I hope it's a big improvement.

When were you in school Red, and what was your major? I loved the school part as much as the basketball. We had some super professors back then. I had multiple classes with Ambrose and Mueller. My major was H&PE and we had great teachers in Anatomy and Kinesiology (our very own monkeys and cadaver). The Olsons (husband and wife) in psychology were also big supporters of athletics. I loved every minute of those 4 years and my grad assistant year.
